East Town Get Down!

A new Calgary music festival on International Avenue, going into year two. This festival is a collaboration between the International Avenue BRZ and the Major Minor Music Project. It was conceived with the intention of exposing Calgary music lovers to all that International Avenue and East Calgary have to offer.

Inspired by the thriving Calgary independent music scene, major festivals like SXSW, and the excitement of International Avenue, East Town Get Down melds location and performance into an immersive event.

Featuring intimate, convivial venues, unique food and drink, and a range of Calgary performers to suit all musical tastes, East Town Get Down is shaking up the festival landscape in Calgary, kicking off the summer season with an international flare.
