You are gonna love the new restaurant at 3908 17 Avenue SE on International Avenue. The cuisine is Italian and with an intriguing name for the restaurant like Green Pizza we had to check it out. Well, we are thrilled with what we found….the pizza is green because…. it has four types of cheese (feta, mozzarella ricotta and parmesan) and pesto (hence the green colour in the pizza). Many pasta dishes abound as well with the freshest ingredients which await your tastebuds. Full selections of pizza including classic Margherita pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella and fresh basil), grilled mushroom pizza (with tomato sauce, mozzarella, truffle puree cream, mushrooms and fresh arugula)… yes we said truffle-my favorite. Other menu items are sure to please. A full selection of salads: house, caesar, sweet potato salad, crispy feta salad, chicken etc. Pasta dishes range from spaghetti Bolognese to creamy fettuccine with a pesto cream base sauce. Prices are super reasonable with most items priced under $20 per dish. This is a very welcome addition to the International Avenue cuisine family indeed!
